Southwestern Advantage on alates 1868. aastast pakkunud tudengitele müügi- ja juhtimisprogrammi. Tudengid veedavad suve USA-s või Kanadas iseseisvate müüjatena: kohtuvad peredega ja tutvustavad neile õppematerjale, mis toetavad last eelkoolist kuni ülikooliks valmistumiseni. Need on raamatud, veebilehed ja äpid.Southwestern Advantage has offered students a sales and leadership program since 1868. Students spend the summer in the USA or Canada as independent sellers. They meet families and show them learning resources that support a child from early learning to college prep: books, websites and apps.

Iga tudeng juhib suvel oma väikest äri. Selleks saab ta koolituse, tööriistad ja mentori.Each student runs their own small business for the summer, and gets training, tools and a mentor to do it.

Baltikumis ja Poolas on programm tegutsenud üle 20 aasta ja selle on läbinud ligi 7000 siinset tudengit.The program has been running in the Baltics and Poland for over 20 years, and nearly 7,000 students from here have completed it.

Minu rollMy part

Aitasin programmi Baltikumis käivitada ja olin esimene Eestist pärit piirkonnajuht. Täna juhin regiooni, kus töötan iga aasta paljude Eesti, Läti, Leedu ja Poola tudengitega.I helped launch the program in the Baltics and was the first district leader from Estonia. Today I lead a region where I work each year with many students from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

Müügis kuuled „ei“ palju sagedamini kui „jah“. Sellega toimetulek on osa õppimisest.In sales you hear “no” far more often than “yes”. Learning to handle it is part of the experience.
